Land Management Issues In Pakistan.

      Аннотация: Land issues across the world historically, are the most common challenges, and are even today. This is primarily due to ever increasing population and corresponding squeezing of land resources around the world. Land management, therefore has gained its importance in all the countries of the world. The management skills and trends on the other hand vary from one part of the world to the other. Conflicts and disputes of land in Pakistan can be traced back to Year 1947, the era in which immigration took place across Pakistan and India. The immigrants from India and immigrants from Pakistan, with a tacit understanding between each other, were required to settle and allot land to their respective migrants. As for Pakistan due to weak Land Management organization were unable to control land grabbing from influential landlords, as a result land grabbing increased. This book is a kind of treasure for various stakeholders of land management including land owners,investors, and relevant government bodies. It is a guide and a warning about violent disputes that could arise from land grabbing and unregulated expansion of mega housing projects.
