Ultrasonography in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.

      Аннотация: The ultrasonography technique and its application, specifically in oral and maxillofacial surgery, is spreading with each dawn. Due to cost effectiveness and non-ionizing nature of this technique, it is becoming more and more popular among the dental fraternity. All kinds of uses of ultrasonography are discussed in this book, which depict the flexibility and variability of ultrasonography. The low cost of this technique and the machine used in the same, is one of the major factor for its increasing use for various purposes. As far as oral and maxillofacial region is concerned, this technique, till now, has provided accurate results and hence more precise treatment options for oral and maxillofacial pathologies. This book will help the clinicians,surgeons and radiologists to the applications of ultrasonography in Oral surgery to properly diagnose and treat oral and maxillofacial pathologies.
