Аннотация: The Growth accounting for for labor productivity growth rate and Determinants of Total Factor Productivity (TFP) growth rates analysis has been an important area of research since the mid of 1950s . Large bodies of literature on sources of labor productivity growth enhanced knowledge on the role technical change (TC) in growth rate.Hence,economic growth rate remain major objectives for policy makers in their attempt to promote economic growth. Thus, this Book decomposed the sources of labor productivity for the Sudanese economy for the period (1980-2009) in order to see its main drivers. The study uses advanced econometric technique based time series data employing Johansson co-integration technique to estimate the capital’s share within initial capital based on reference study and calculated initial capital based on variety of methods for the whole economy and its main sectors. The finding shows that, there is a long-run equilibrium relationship between (TFP )and the capital labor ratio for economy and the sectors respectively.the Book provides valuables time series data for Sudan economy such as labor, capital, augmented labor, TFP ...etc
