Study on Use of IT in Sugar Factories of South Gujarat Region.

      Аннотация: In recent years we have been witnessing one of the most important events in human history thus far – The Information Technology (IT) revolution. IT is not only changing the way that we work, study, play and conduct our lives, but it is doing so much more quickly than any other revolution (such as the Industrial Revolution) with impacts that are more far reaching. Furthermore, doing business is becoming more complex as well as competitive due the impact of globalization. Today changes that are taking place in part of the world have deliberate impact on other part of the world. In such environment organizations have to rethink how to do business with such competitive pressure and fast changing world. The study concluded that sugar factories under the survey are making modest use of Information Technology and its various formats. Even the sugar factories lack the foresightedness and vision to grow with the changing world. The present scenario of industry also demands that one needs to be more competitive to meet with the challenges.
