      Аннотация: This book highlights the Theoretical, Conceptual and Practical frame work of shyness and self-esteem in the field of academics existing among the elementary school children. This volume covers the investigation of correlation of shyness and self-esteem with academic achievement among children of 4th to 7th standards of the age group between 9 to 12 years. The main objective of the study is to investigate the relationship of academic achievement with shyness and self-esteem among the children of the age group as said above. It also includes the investigation to examine the impact of self-esteem on academic achievement. Gender is another variable. The eye opener of the study is, that as the age advances shyness increases and self-esteem decreases. This call for an urgent and in-depth investigation by educators and administrators all over the country.
