Аннотация: Aggregates size plays an important part in different properties of the concrete like workability and compressive strength. The smaller the size of aggregates the higher is the strength of the concrete and less will be its workability. It is so because smaller aggregates consequence less attention of stress that causes due to dissimilar elastic module of paste and aggregates, around particles. Therefore size of aggregate may be another bond strength influencing factor. Moreover ACI-408 and FIB Model Code provided equations for bond strength on which bases the ACI-318 development length equation has been generated and used widely in the commercial market has no effect of maximum size of coarse aggregate size on bond strength of reinforcements in concrete. To the author’s knowledge, in literature review there is limited literature available having effect of aggregate size on bond strength of reinforced concrete. Therefore, this study is conducted to investigate this desirable effect of aggregate size on bond behavior of reinforcements in concrete.
