Аннотация: Neuroscience in the form of biofeedback therapies has shown improvements in cognitive functioning and overall reduction in negative mental health symptoms. Dr. Grisham introduces neuroscience as an evidence-based treatment that demonstrates improvements with youth delinquent behaviors. In so doing, the strategy reinforces the ability for cognitive control of negative influences on the mind; i.e. trauma, sex abuse, unstable living environments. Such capabilities, thus, are better able to help mediate where emotive thinking once dominated. Correctional Institutions and Departments will benefit in implementing innovative treatment modalities to help achieve their overall goals and mission statements. Youth will benefit from reduced treatment time, being able to cope and mange, then live productive lives. This book will assist state and local governments in addressing Youth Crime and Youth Mental Health. Information gathered can be presented to general public to address risk factors for developing youth. Working with youth has to be a cognizant approach from within the living environment. Great appreciation to Dr. Nadira Pardo (Ed.) for assisting in this completed work.
