Аннотация: Livestock is an important asset of any country. But the livestocks are suffering from nutrients deficiencies resulting in poor health and productivity reared on straw based ration. In monsoon season of Bangladesh a lot of rice straw spoiled due to to heavy rainfall, insufficient sunshine & scarcity of labor & it is a major contributing factor of feed scarcity. Rice straw alone can not meet the animal’s maintenance needs because of having an inhibitory mineral element called silica. To minimize the feed shortage and improve the nutritional value, it can be ensiled with biogas slurry which is not using properly and most of the cases causing environmental pollution by discharging it in public places though it is rich in protein (16-20% CP) and produced through beneficiary anaerobic microorganisms. Ensiling of wet rice straw with biogas slurry produce a good quality ensilage having high nutritional value and also reduce environmental pollution. The commercial farmers can be used this technology for better rearing and better production of their animal.
