      Аннотация: Nowadays Bangladesh has been established itself as an emerging tiger in the global socio-economic arena. Bangladesh Government has already adopted various programs like Vision-2021, SDGs, Vision-2041 and Delta 2100 Program to make our country globalized and digitalized. To materialize these programs come true and uplift our country in the pinnacle of success, it is very much important to give emphasize on English Language policy, planning, teaching methodology and learning English in Bangladesh. During the last 4 decades, our governments have formulated various education commissions and policies. But the government formulated commissions could not give us any clear-cut English Language policy and teaching methodology for the teachers or ELT practitioners. As a result, we see a disastrous impact on teaching and learning the English Language in Bangladesh. I expect this book will give us a clear picture of the English Language Teaching and Learning in Bangladesh since 1974 to the present time and focused on the solution of the problems. This book is an admixture of historical and empirical study on various institutions and learners of ELTL. It is the replica of ELTL in Bangladesh.
