Development-Induced Displacement and a Persisting Problem in Odisha.

      Аннотация: This book will help the researcher who wants to do research in the field development, displacement and livelihood of the state Odisha, India and have an idea about policies and act regarding displacement. Chapter one focuses on the study of the concept of development, the concept of development-induced displacement, the scenario of displacement in India and Odisha, problem of the displaced people, research question, scope of the study objective and significance of the study. Review of Literature in relation to different aspects of the object is discussed in chapter two. Chapter three consists of Land Acquisition and Rehabilitation & Resettlement Policy measure. The chapter four deal with the methodology of the study. Chapter five describe the field (Lower Suktel Irrigation Project, Bolangir District, Odisha). The chapter number six explains the survey conducted the socioeconomic background of the respondents. The chapter seven and eight find out the Data and Tabulation, finding, discussion, suggestions, and conclusion.
