Trade caravan would travel to the south and north and pass through the Arabian Peninsula. Before Islam, numerous trade methods were prevalent in Arabia which was the part of their culture. These methods were dubious and based on fraud and cheating. Most of the time, fraudulent trade practices were the bone of contention between various Arab tribes which continued generations after generations.
