IT Industry in Enhancement of Services Sector of Indian Economy. A Case Study of IT Hub of Pune City

      Аннотация: With the unprecedented advances of information technology, constituents of services sector have been transformed drastically and major portion of services industry are now driven by IT industry. This book depicts the emergence and development of services sector in Indian economy, performance and contribution of IT in enhancing the growth of service sector in post reforms era along with the role and significance of IT industry in contributing to GDP growth. The integration of IT in services sector has made it possible to interact and simplify the business process across the globe. Also, it outlines the performance of IT in digitization and digital delivery of services sector which are the main drivers of innovation, transformation, globalization and automation of services with operational efficiency without human errors. The profile of IT hubs in Pune and Pimpri-Chinchwad are outlined and the factors which made Pune as one of the top most IT destinations were explained. A case study of IT business performance in the study area has been presented.
