      Аннотация: Oil industries in Nigeria play vital roles that are of great value and strategic towards supporting the nation's development. Occupational hazards are conditions that arise from occupational environment in relation to industrial activities. Presently, the oil industry demands increased production, quality control, high efficiency, control of costs etc. The process involved in production has become complex and capital intensive. To meet these needs, occupational Health, safety and Environment becomes significantly important and when neglected, the consequence can be very costly. Thus, this book presented detailed information on occupational hazards that exist among workers in the oil industry in Rivers State, Nigeria. In addition, this book covered the following: Physical, Mechanical, Biological, Chemical, Psychological and most common hazards, and Occupational hazard control methods among oil company workers in Nigeria.
