      Аннотация: When writing the monograph, the authors set themselves the main goal - to provide information support to practitioners of various specialties in their work on optimizing the diagnosis and treatment of adult patients with sepsis. The monograph contains up-to-date information on definitive categories, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, complex diagnostics, principles of treatment of septic syndrome, based on international recommendations. The monograph is intended for physicians of the departments of obstetrician-gynecologists, intensive care, anesthesiologists. This work is a reflection of the authors' firm conviction that "... well treated by those who precisely define the concepts" and does not claim to be unconditional and the status of "absolute truth", as well as the modern science of sepsis as a whole. Authors with understanding and special gratitude will accept constructive, interested suggestions on the essence of the problem under discussion.
