Аннотация: Nanotechnology has emerged as one of the leading new innovative technologies with a great potential for treating wastewater in a more effective and efficient manner than methods that have been previously used. Nanotechnology is the study and implementation of nano materials for engineering purposes. Nano materials are characterized at least in one of three measurements by manometer scale, concerning both the sample and structural elements of the material. In a developing country like India, industries emphasis more on production and revenue generation, and do not give importance to the environmental aspects of their operations. The major form of pollution is water pollution. This is due to the discharge of improperly treated waste waters from industries into natural water bodies. In this study, tests are conducted to study the treatment efficiency of TiO2 to treat the industrial wastewater in a continuous treatment process. The samples were tested for various parameters before and after treatment. The results implied that TiO2 was successful in treating the samples from dairy, textile industries.
