Аннотация: The sports facilities are high gathering places around the world thanks to the sporting shows they offer to people eager for emotions and sensational actions. Among them are the multifunctional sports complexes. They have evolved over time both architecturally and organizationally to cater for the constant needs of sports fans. However, their ability to be profitable over time outside the sporadic sports events they host is being questioned. Hence, it is necessary to work on the strategies of their reconversion to avoid them falling into the myth of the white elephant. This is the case of the Yaound? multipurpose sports complex in Cameroon. Indeed, the purpose of this study was to demonstrate that the Yaound? multipurpose sports complex is exploitable for tourism as this sporting infrastructure has the ability to be used to enhance tourism. To do this, it was necessary on the one hand, to make a situational analysis of that structure by highlighting the activities to attract as many visitors as possible within it, and on the other hand, to evaluate its capacity to attract the tourists' attention by its setting and activities, especially its external and internal design.
