Аннотация: The concept of this book is focused on the miracle potential of Piperine extracted from the natural herb Pippali piper longum. Piperine, a natural alkaloids is used in variety of ailments like worms treatment, asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia, liver diseases etc., avoiding associated side effect. Hepatic diseases befall in numerous categories. They are mainly caused due to viruses, pathogens, drugs toxicity, poisons and alcohol abuse. The Piperine showed significant hepatoprotective activity along with benefits of eliminating the adverse ill-effect of treatment. Targeted drug delivery is a method of delivering medication that increases the concentration of the medication at desired body parts. The study is focused on liver targeting employing Piperine encapsulated biodegradable Chitosan microspheres to achieve prolonged, localize, onsite hepatoprotective potential via oral route. Amalgam of Piperine and biodegradable chitosan microspheres opened novel prospects againsty liver ailments. The current targeting strategy will enhanced the therapeutic efficiency at hepatic region with reduction in undesirable effects to the normal cells and proves as a boon for abolition of liver ailment.
