The rapidly changing business environment in banking sector and the constant challenges it poses to organizations and businesses make it vital to continuously enhance and develop knowledge and skill sets across the organization. One of the biggest challenges being faced by professionals in human resource management today is the development of an effective human resources strategy that give support to organization’s short and long term business goals. But even as high unemployment is present, banks are still facing a shortage of suitable candidates with the right skills and experience to fill critical jobs in banks. Recent trends in the banking industry show that the banking sector is growing in size and sophistication to meet the needs of a modern economy and global environment.
