      Аннотация: Surrogacy is an enormous journey that intended parents embark on with the help of a surrogate, who will carry and care for their babies for nine months. This journey for surrogate mothers is not possible without the support of spouse and families. That’s why author tried to inquire about Spouses’ perception towards surrogacy. As we are well aware about the fact that our physical, social and mental states are inter connected and inter dependent. Thus, to study the role of spouses is also important when it comes to surrogacy. Because, to permit one’s wife to carry the baby who is not genetically theirs, itself is like fighting all odds of the society. The findings of the book are striking and author has tried to see surrogacy through the lens of society and spouses at a time.
