      Аннотация: The management of cleft lip and palate presents a great challenge not only because it involves face that is the most exposed organ of the human body but also because of associated various anatomical and functional problems, which continue to show up with age. Despite tremendous progress in this field, many children still receive care that is substantially inferior to what can be provided. This is due to inadequate approach to recognize and treat the wide spectrum of obscure problems.The orthodontist by virtue of their in-depth knowledge of the craniofacial complex, it’s growth and development and their expertise in tooth movement, has to play a role of prime importance in making critical decisions, planning treatment and rendering care
