Аннотация: Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART) is a combination of three drugs used to suppress the growth of HIV. HAART on its own or when used in combination with other drugs can cause adverse drug reactions hence, monitoring of patients on HAART by health professionals is vital. Patients on HAART also have to be made aware of possible adverse events they might experience when on treatment and which measures to take when experiencing these adverse events.
