      Аннотация: Most academic (and even technical) programmes nowadays require students to undertake a project or research study; this comes up towards the terminal point in their programme of study. Because this task is dissimilar to the typical pattern of their erstwhile study efforts, which consisted mainly of course work followed by a written examination, the task usually presents them as a considerable difficulty. The reason being that there are usually no textbooks to consult on this particular aspect of their work, unlike the regular subjects. Students, therefore, often lack the knowledge of how to proceed, besides perhaps looking up project/research reports written by other students. The pitfall here is that such reports which they use as models may themselves contain some hidden flaws or imperfections. This is the principal reason why a guide book such as this becomes very valuable.
