Deliverance, a Spiritual Battle against the Power of Darkness. The Context of Christian Churches in Rwanda

      Аннотация: Today, several testimonials so by physical contact that through journals and televisions show catastrophic situation in Christian Churches where some Pastors use horrible and confusing techniques while administrating what they preach and call “Deliverance”. According to those testimonials, some arm themselves by supernatural power allowing them walking on the back of human body without harming the concerned person, as deliverance technique. Others confuse Christians by doing sex as deliverance technique. Others ask to be paid a certain amount of money as a sacrifice for being healed. Others use traditional drugs, water, Israel’s soil and oil that are costly. Their teachings focus on generation curses and show themselves as deliverers. Another situation is that those popular teachers are considered as God’s Messengers so that their teachings are easily assimilated than other theologians’: There is a continuous long queue of Christians behind them soliciting hands imposition and assistance until spending their fortune in such processes.
