Extremism is a multifaceted phenomenon of modern life. This is a feature of the psychology of the individual,, the ideology of various social groups,, one of the forms of political activity,, a perverted way of resolving social contradictions. The negative potential of extremism is felt not only by individual citizens, but also by entire states, extremism has gone beyond individual countries, has become a global problem of humanity. If nihilism is not perceived by public consciousness as a serious threat to the individual, society,, moreover, the state, in some of its manifestations even find a creative meaning, then extremism, public consciousness,, international law,, national legislation are clearly defined as evil. Extremism, erected in the principle of state policy, becomes a threat to domestic, international security, the cause of international, including armed conflicts, becomes a global problem of humanity at the present stage of its development.
