The international commercial exchanges have shrunk abruptly, in the last quarter of 2008 and the in the first quarter of 2009, following the intensification of the financial crisis in September 2008, as well as the generated restriction of the economic activity at the global level. In this manuscript, the analysis of the companies’ business activity shall be carried out by developing the information of over 600 hundreds companies that have submitted and got the homologation for their financial standings for tax year 2009. Characterizing the latter activity may be performed: from the perspective of the density in territory, as per the latter’s size – subject to the number of employees, the type of activity, the legal form of property, as well as depending upon the level of the companies’ economical – financial performances. Getting the picture of an evolution trend shall be accomplished by comparing 2009 with 2001.
