By moving to cloud the educational institutes can concentrate on their core activities of teaching and research. Both the public and the private institutions can use the cloud computing to deliver better services with limited resources. The trick is to find the right balance of on-premise and cloud services. This book titled “Prospects of Cloud Computing in Education-A Practical Approach” discusses the prospects of cloud computing in education.First chapter introduces cloud.Various aspect of cloud computing such as Data Center consolidation and cloud interoperability is also discussed.
