Аннотация: Aviation security has become critical in recent years due to the influences has on our lives in a diversity of ways. Workers of aviation industry must be motivated to achieve job satisfaction. Motivation is concerned with the strength and direction of behaviour. Motivating people is about getting them to move in a particular direction you want them to go so as to achieve result. High performance is achieved when well-motivated people are prepared to exercise discretionary effort. Job satisfaction tells how much people cherish their jobs. Employee satisfaction is a basis for improving productivity at work. It is therefore important to know the level of job satisfaction among employees. It is on this ground the researchers seek to investigate job satisfaction of aviation security agents (Profilers) at Kotoka International Airport (KIA), Accra-Ghana. To find out the determinants of their job satisfaction and suggest possible ways to improve their job satisfaction. Data were collected with questionnaire and was analysed and discussed quantitatively using SPSS and STATA. The conclusion made from this research is only valid for profiling companies/airline security companies at KIA.
