Аннотация: There are different change management models some of them are well known and implemented in Ethiopia. This study had examined the practices and challenges of change management in the case of kaizen implementation in geosynthetics industrial works plc, the change management department and the company staff believes that there were challenges on the change management process. The Company faces many challenges in the implementation of the new change management or kaizen model some of the challenges were lack of knowledge about the change management model, lack of budget, management attitude, communication problem, lack of training, lack of time, employee resistance and others. The implementation of change management involved often structural as well as cultural changes in a company. The study has been designed to asses practice and challenges of change management practices of the geosynthetics industrial works plc. Both primary and secondary data collection instruments were used to collect data. Closed ended and open ended questionnaires along with interviews were used for the purpose of data collection.
