Аннотация: The main intention of this research was to study the opinion of intermediate level chemistry teachers and students regarding infrastructure, facilities, problems, reason behind failure of National Education Policy-2009 and suggestion for improvement of science education. The study revealed that NEP-2009 has not been implemented so far due to lack of resources, financial aid, basic facilities, outdated curriculum, poor teaching methodology and examination system. Implemented curriculum is neither outcome based nor according to the demand of the teachers and learners. The in-practice chemistry curriculum is incompetent to give productive citizen to the society. The educational institutes are deprived of facilities and technology resources. According to teachers all students are treated equally in a fair manner. Motivational factor is available in classroom. They support dissemination of technical education to provide skillful people to nation.
