It entails all the steps required to conduct a research study from research plan to analysis, interpretation and dissemination. As it mainly focuses on quantitative research methods and analysis, the emphasis has been given more on statistical measurements according to specific conditions like various data types and study designs. Medical students face enormous issues while writing down statistical considerations such as sample size calculation in a research proposal. Keeping this limitation in mind, a separate chapter on sample size measurement options according to various research designs have been added. The book answers all basic questions coming in the mind of trained or untrained researcher or even a layman or newcomer in research can find help.
