      Аннотация: In the past decades, both Taiwan's and China's states have tried to promote internationalisation in higher education under the influence of globalisation. One of the approaches that both states have adopted is to make its higher education institutions become top universities in the world university ranking. This book discovers that the state capability plays a pivotal role in the development of higher education, especially in the face of global competition.
