Development Ethics or Ethical Concerns in Development?. An Ethical-Political Vista Interposing

      Аннотация: Our material universe has perennially encountered varied issues that merit ethical considerations anchored on holistic Ethical-Political approach. The construing from the foregoing is that human beings have greatly faced encumbrances in their development voyage. The quandaries have been myriad within the society: corruption; poverty; a dearth of freedom and responsibility as twin foundations of true and genuine development; procurement and tendering; environmental sustainability; current development models materializing values; culture and traditional value approaches vis-?-vis development; policy mooting and implementation; development practitioners best approaches and intrinsic as well as extrinsic values as facets of development are the concern of this book. The core argument is that, these plethora of bane to development could only be tackled by the use of Ethics or Moral Philosophy. The erstwhile has been presented as both an Art and Science. Values become the quintessence as a panacea to the ever present torpedoed holistic development which ought to be tinctured with anthropocentrism.
