Literary Criticism or Theories as Mechanisms of Reading Literature. With Special References To : Critical Analysis Of Arthur Miller, Ernest Hemingway, and F. Scott Fitzgerald’s Works Based On American Dream

      Аннотация: This book is purposely been focused on literary criticism as an important element of studying literature (the work of Arts). This study is a tectonic fraction of research which would be attempted to discuss the history of literary criticism, theory as well as literature. The definitions of the trio would be discussed as well. A critical analysis of American texts – Death of a salesman 1949 a play written by famous American playwright named Arthur Miller, The novel, the Old Man and the Sea 1951 written by Ernest Hemingway together with The Great Gatsby 1925 also a novel written by American author F. Scott Fitzgerald. The interpretations of the above mentioned texts are attempted to interrogate the history and ideology of “American Dream”. The research is going to be a challenge to the reader of any text to interpret a particular text based upon his/her own understanding while reading a text, but not only the America texts which I have been stated. This dissertation is not particularly concerned about the meaning of the texts but rather the contextual understanding and interpretation of the text by the reader or interpreter.
