African Migration And Philosophy. Between cultural bereavement and identity

      Аннотация: In this piece, authors have established the link between philosophy and migration, a link located primarily in the domain of how migration shapes philosophical thought in a way that enriches society. At the International Conference on “Migration and the Identity Question in a Modern World”, organized by the Association for the Promotion of African Studies, philosophers of different schools of thought responded to these fundamental questions bordering on migration. Thus, it is not surprising that the different chapters of this work deal with fundamental issues like: belongingness and migration, philosophical analysis of the relationship between migration and poverty, African philosophy and migration, the ethical concerns about human trafficking, migration and African identity, Migration and the philosophy of brain drain, etc. This work does not only establish the independence of philosophy, but expresses her capacity to penetrate any field of human inquiry where truth can possibly be found.Prof. KANU Ikechukwu Anthony, OSADepartment of Philosophy and Religious StudiesTansian University
