The Responsability of Civic and Electorate Education. In the Process of Building Democratic System in Ethiopia: the Case of National Electoral Board of Ethiopia (NEBE)

      Аннотация: Democracy has got a constitutional accord in Ethiopia. As per the constitution of the country, political power is seized only through election. Accordingly, the political system in Ethiopia is based on a multi-party democracy. Basically, the function of the board is to provide Civic Education and related information to voters together with sharing other educational experiences with the view to enhance the level of participation of citizens. The objective of voters and Civics education is informing voters about their rights, the political system, and issue of the vote, where and how they will vote and ensuring the same. Generally, NEBE should have to concentrate and mind under consideration for Civic knowledge, financial resources, Civic disposition, Civic Skill and voters Education respectively. This book is dedicated to people of Tigray.
