Аннотация: Human development, or developmental psychology, is a field of study that attempts to describe and explain the changes in human cognitive, emotional, and behavioural capabilities and functioning over the entire life span, from the foetus to old age. Human development is a process of recognising/articulating and quantifying change/growth (social, emotional, physical and cognitive) across lifespan, Human development can be best understood (from infancy to adulthood) within an educational context through a topical approach. As a direct service worker you may work with families who have infants, children, adolescents, and adults still living at home. The more you understand about how individuals grow and develop the better able you will be to provide appropriate support. In this book; Human Behaviour and Learning; An Integrated Outline in Educational Psychology for Human Development, we will look at how individuals typically grow and develop. You will learn about: Infant Development, Toddler Development, Pre-schooler Development, Middle Childhood Development, Adolescent Development, and Adult Development.
