Аннотация: A person who is swinging between life and death on a mechanical ventilator in ICU is in paramount need of proper quality of care which is most of the time given by a nurse. The knowledge and practice of a nurse for a patient who is on mechanical ventilator can prevent various complications. In modern intensive care management of critical problems, most of the patients need artificial ventilation during this stage of their illness. With the availability of a variety of ventilators and increasing medical expertise, mechanical ventilation has become easier today. Although it is a lifesaving intervention, mechanical ventilation can also cause serious complications. This book is an eye-opener for the current level of knowledge and practice in the field of health care for improving quality patient care and evidence-based nursing practice.
