The Dynamics of Civil Society. In the Democratisation inNigeria, 1983-2007

      Аннотация: This study aims at taking us through the series of events that took place between 1983 and 2007 in Nigeria political system. Precisely, it puts into a proper perspective the processes through which a nearly two-decade of military authoritarian regimes (1983-1999) metamorphosed, through unflinching efforts of civil society, into a successful transition in 1999. In order to account for these historic events, the book answers the main guiding question: “How changesin the dynamics of civil society influenced the process of democratization in Nigeria?”.
