Porcelain veneers are to be considered the "state of the art" in aesthetic dentistry, providing abundant advantages over any previous form of veneer system. They are excellent in terms of their appearance and durability, and the actual procedure does not disturb the soft tissue or the adjoining periodontium. Since their introduction almost 20 years ago, porcelain veneers have become the flagship of most aesthetics-based practices.
