Аннотация: Composite is a combination of two different materials i.e matrix and reinforcement. In recent years, the utilization of natural fiber reinforced polymer (NFRP) composites has increased in various areas of science and technology due to their special mechanical and physical properties. Most of the natural fiber composites have a high strength-to-weight ratio, high stiffness, lower thermal expansion coefficient, high thermal conductivity. Therefore, NFRPs have the potential to replace synthetic fiber reinforced composite materials in various fields of application such as automotive, aeronautical and aerospace as well as in other advanced industries. As a result of these potential applications, there exists a great necessity to understand the problems associated with the machining of these composites. Machining of NFRPs is rather complex task owing to it is heterogeneity and to the fact that reinforcements are responsible for complex deformation behaviour and inferior surface finish. In this investigation an attempt has been made to produce composites varying fiber orientations and loading by reinforcing a new natural fiber called “Take Fiber” in epoxy matrix.
