Аннотация: This book is based on the study investigating what types of monetary or non-monetary incentives and motivation strategies would help the education policy makers to attract Emirati men towards teaching profession. The need for such a research may be justified by the alarming fact that the percentage of Emirati male teachers in the public schools, according to the latest statistics, is less than 5%. Based on a qualitative research methodology, and within the conceptual framework of most widely accepted human motivation theories; the relevant data and facts were collected from group discussions conducted with four focus groups of Emirati boys studying in three secondary public schools and two focus groups of undergraduate students in a government university. The findings of this research will help the policy makers better understand why Emirati men have been less inclined to teaching profession than any other job, and how they can make teaching one of the most attractive career choices.
