      Аннотация: This book describes whole telecommunications subject from beginning to present stage including mobile communications first generation (1G) to fifth generation (5G). Telecommunications subject from telegraph to land line telephone systems with network parameters are delineated. Development of wireless and satellite communications is elaborately discussed with features. Now mobile communications are totally based on digital communications. For this different digital modulation and demodulation techniques are briefly narrated. Thereafter, mobile communications system from first generation (1G) to second and half generation (2.5G) are profoundly illustrated with all sorts of innovation. Data communications speed is abruptly enhanced from 3G mobile communications system onwards. Then mobile communications system for 3G, 4G and 5G are enthusiastically portrayed in full. The architectures, facilities and differences obtained among different mobile generations from 1G to 5G are smoothly demarcated. Security in communications is a great criterion, thus different security or authentication techniques implemented in 2G to 5G mobile communications network are significantly depicted.
