Аннотация: Development of Mathematics is under process since last many centuries and in last few centuries, new branches of Mathematics have been developed by Mathematicians. Term operation Research was first coined in 1940 by Mcclosky and Treftham in a small town, Bowdsey of the United Kingdom and came into existence in military context. During world was II, military Management called on scientists from various disciplines and organized them into teams to assist in solving strategic and tactical problems of various military projects and they suggested certain approaches that showed remarkable progress. This systematic and scientific study of the operation of system was called operation research (O.R.) Success of military teams attracted the attention of industrial managers who were seeking solution to their complex executive type problems and that begins study of O.R.The students are expected to be able to demonstrate the following knowledge, skills and attitudes after completing this book: to iIdentify and develop operational research models from the verbal description of the realsystem, to be able to build and solve Transportation Models and Assignment Models.
