Аннотация: This work is the comprehensive chronological study of Pakistan China bilateral diplomatic relations since its establishment in May 1951. It encompasses major areas of cooperation between two nations including political, economic and military spheres.Both of the nations share unanimity of opinion on certain international and regional issues which make them natural allies. The inception of OBOR and partnership of Pakistan in its major artery China Pakistan Economic Corridor reflects the mutual understanding and strength of strategic partnership. The major goal of the study is to identify the background which led both nations to materialize CPEC along with their commitment to further development and economic growth in this connection. Furthermore, it highlights the challenges which might emerge with this prospective opportunity to Pakistan. In order to analyze this study, descriptive method has been employed keeping in view the explanatory nature of study and incorporated data comprising primary and secondary sources alike.
