Аннотация: Oral health is the reflection of one’s general health and wellbeing. Dental health is an integral part of general health. While considering the oral cavity the dental caries is the one of the most common microbial infection which remains a challenging issue toward the mankind. Dental caries is an irreversible disease which affects both organic and inorganic component of the tooth. An attempt has been made in this less explored path and the aim of this research is to compare the effect of Chlorhexidine mouthwash, Chocolate mouthwash and Ginger mouthwash on Streptococcus mutans and Lactobacillus in the saliva.To assess the efficacy of cocoa bean husk, ginger and chlorhexidine mouthrinse on S.mutans and lactobacillus.To assess the antimicrobial efficacy of Ginger and Cocoa bean husk on Streptococcus mutans. 2. To assess the antimicrobial efficacy of Ginger and Cocoa bean husk on Lactobacillus. 3. To compare the antibacterial efficacy between Chlorhexidine, Ginger and Cocoa bean husk mouth rinse.It is a Randomized controlled trial conducted among subject aged 18-25yrs. The study was conducted in the month of July – September 2018.
