Stress Among University Lecturers: A Challenging Issue. Personality, work characteristics and job stress among university lecturers in Southwestern Nigeria

      Аннотация: Stress is a growing concern in today’s society. It has been described as the greatest assault on human psychological, health, cognitive, emotional and behavioural integrity in the 21st century. Research has shown high levels of teacher stress in the tertiary sector. This book reports the research findings on certain personality and work characteristics that could predispose university lecturers to stress. It also brings up counseling intervention programmes for managing lecturer stress.
