Аннотация: In recent few decades, projection of women issues remained the most prominent trend of authors all over the world. Indian authors are also fascinated by women issues. Some Indian women novelists in English have tried to explore the pathetic plight of Indian women who are compelled to suffer from their birth till their death in order to keep them under the governance of patriarchal society. Manju Kapur is one of the most prominent Indian women novelists. Her novels Difficult Daughters, A Married Woman, Home, The Immigrant, Custody and The Brothers explore women's struggle in patriarchal setup. Manju Kapur has used different themes such as patriarchal setup, search for identity, infertility and infidelity and struggle for existence etc. Manju Kapur's work is very significant to understand and create awareness about social evils against women. All these things are studied with all critical fairness in the present book.
