If prosthodontist understand articulators and their deficiencies, they can compensate for their inherent in adequacies. The skill of the prosthodontist is the most important aspect of successful patient treatment and not the instrument or technique. Prosthodontist should try to give the most accurate occlusion in prosthesis that is the best rehabilitation to the patient by recording the jaw relations and jaw movements accurately. So, there should be thorough knowledge of these gadgets before using them. Success or failure of any prosthesis is more dependent on the operator rather than these gadgets used in prosthodontics. And it is rightly said that it must be recognized that a person operating a instrument is more important than the instrument.
