      Аннотация: Awareness of the importance of environmental issues has become central to the thinking of the oil and gas industry in recent years. This research provides an overview of the oil and gas drilling waste management in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. It focuses on the collection of waste and waste streams as an integral aspect of sustainable waste management. The book also investigates how waste management can foster a transition towards a sustainable and circular bio-economy.This primer on sustainable waste management in Nigeria's oil and gas sector sheds light on the real obstacles to sustainable development and provides solutions to each problem encountered. Each solution is complete with an economic analysis that clarifies why petroleum operations can continue with even greater profit than before while ensuring that the negative environmental impact is diminished.
