Socio-political Impact of Small and Medium Scale Enterprises in Lagos State, Nigeria.

      Аннотация: Governments in both industrialized and developing countries rely on different SME-friendly programs to achieve economic growth. This book examines the socio-political impact of SMEs in Lagos State, Nigeria, including the rationale for government intervention in support of SMEs. Using both theoretical and empirical approaches in the research, the author suggests a framework for SME intervention to help the Lagos and Nigerian government design SME strategies, gauge the effectiveness of assistance programs, and achieve the objective of raising SME competitiveness. The book intends to help managers of SMEs to understand various finance theories, provide students with the resource material required for academic work, and enrich the field of financial management with information on credit financing of SMEs. It will be of interest to government officials and development agencies involved in SME support policies and programs.
